Drawing
After practicing the skills to draw a portrait the children drew their portraits on a coin. We then used crayon rubbings to add texture to the final piece. Aren’t they amazing!
We have learnt how to draw an eye. The children used a range of lines and tone.
The children have been exploring different shades and tones created by different art pencils.
The children have been exploring light and dark by adding pressure to their pencil as they shade. They then used a range of pencils from 5H to 6B and observed the different tone.
