What an amazing day visiting Bowland High School to make scones. The children learnt about hygiene and cleaned there area. They followed the instructions to make scones using a rubbing technique and cutting method. They placed their scones in the oven and timed them.whilst the scones were cooking they tidied their areas and put all the equipment away.

Practisingb the skills of measuering using tsps, tbs and mass.

Tasting and evaluating different scones.

Learning about food miles.

Researching different celebrity chefs and their influences on cooking.
