Spring Term What is it like to live in Arusha, Tanzania, Africa?
We went on a walk to recap the physical and human features in our local area.
Recognising physical and human features in our local area.
We used Google maps to look at the aerial view of the local area around school.
Using aerial photographs and ordnance survey maps of the local area. We labelled the physical and human features that we could see.

Year 2 also located the five oceans of the world.

We found out that the mountain is Kilimanjaro and the river is the River Rufiji which is the longest river in Tanzania.
Other key vocabulary we learnt was: savannah, coast, city and volcano.
