Spring 2 - Judaism (Why might people put trust in God?)

Miss Markham shared the story of Noah’s Ark with us. This helped us understand why Jewish people, and other people, believe they can trust God.

Super Sukkahs! We learned about why the festival of Sukkot it’s important to Jews, and spoke about how a sukkah is like a home where Jews eat and spend time together, as well as reminding themselves of God’s protection.

How do Jewish people show care? We have explored how tzedakah (charity) is an important aspect to life for Jews. We discussed how when we give something, we don’t need to receive something back. We made card for someone to show we care, without expecting something back.

We enjoyed sharing a biscuit with our friends in our ‘sukkah’! We talked about things we are grateful for.
