This term, our topic is Everyday Materials.
We found a mystery box! We looked inside the box and found a variety of objects.
We thought about what materials the objects could be made from, before using sorting hoops to classify the objects.
We enjoyed building with different materials and also spotting items around the classroom we could label!
We are material detectives! We went into the outdoor classroom to see what objects and materials we could spot. We thought about how some objects are made from two materials.
Hold up your item if it is... We enjoyed identifying what materials objects were made from. We began to think about their properties.
Our rainbow challenge this week is to independently identify objects which are made from two different materials. Well done!
