We were extremely lucky to be visited by Zoo Lab! We learnt lots of new facts and looked at animals up close. What can you see?
What do animals eat? We made predictions on what different animals ate before learning how some animals eat insects/plants/other animals or all of them! We placed our learning into a table...
We sorted animals according to their characteristics...
We began our science unit by exploring what we already knew about animals. Miss DeRosa created a mindmap of all the fantastic facts we already knew. We then looked closely at images of animals and wrote sentences of what we could see. We aimed to identify animals features such as fur and wings.
