Science Club
After listening to the story of ‘The Boy Who Turned Off The Sun’ we made and tested our own catapults.

We read ‘Not a Stick’ by Antoinette Portis. We then went outside to collect sticks to make bug hotels.
After reading ‘Ada Twist Scientist’, we investigated how the colours changed when we added different liquids to red cabbage water mixed with bicarbonate of soda. It was a very smelly investigation!
Without any glue, what could we use to stick Nobot the Robot’s bottom back on to his body? We investigated with ketchup, shampoo, margarine, soap and jam.
