Autumn 2 - Christianity
Building Bethlehem and the stable and using stick puppets to role play the Christmas story.
We thought of questions to ask the Christian Faith Ambassadors about their experiences and routines at Christmas. We also discussed the roles of those involved in the Christmas story.
We really enjoyed a visit from the Godly Play team today. We loved hearing about all those who were there at the Nativity and the role they played. We then were able to respond creatively to what we’d heard.
Sequencing and recording the First Christmas.
We considered the needs of babies. We created a ‘Diamond 9’ to order their needs from least to most important.
We have been thinking about the importance of the Christmas story for Christians.
