"Father Christmas Comes Up Trumps" made us smile and giggle all the way through.
During Drawing Club, we drew Santa and wrote secret codes to stop him from trumping!

Superhero Day! The children looked fantastic and we had so much fun.
We talked about who our personal superheroes are!
The Evil Pea trapped Miss Lancaster in toilet paper! We made "wanted" posters describing what he looks like. Please let Cherry Class know if you see him!

We have been using our phonic fingers to support our writing.
We created a role on the wall using adjectives to describe The Evil Pea. We used the word bank to support our learning before we thought of new words such as mischievous!
The Evil Pea has been in our classroom! He has trapped the vegetables in the ice, taped some of them to the to the table and made a mess of our classroom! To try and catch him, we have been working very hard to create traps.
We have been thinking about what the vegetables might be saying / feeling!

Bonfire Night! We created some firework art using different shapes, before thinking about the sounds fireworks make and writing them down. The Year 1 children practised adding the suffix "ing" to the end of words.

We were extremely excited to be in school on Halloween! We enjoyed the story of Funnybones. During Drawing Club, we drew and made our own skeletons (which are incredible), wrote speech bubbles and danced to the skeleton song!
