Autumn 1 Small Area of the UK - Clitheroe
This term our geography lessons are focused on Clitheroe.
We have 3 enquiry questions to consider:
What can you find in Clitheroe?
What do people do in Clitheroe?
How would you change Clitheroe?
The year 1 children sorted features of Clitheroe into Physical feature and Human features.
We thought about what jobs people do in different human features of Clitheroe.
The year 1 children thought about the jobs that people do at school.
Creating a map with a key!
We walked up to the top of Clitheroe Castle and discussed the physical and human features we could see. We also counted public bins and pedestrians crossings. This will help us to identify changes that could be made to improve Clitheroe.
We thought about what we liked about Clitheroe and what would make Clitheroe an EVEN better place.
