Autumn 1 Clitheroe

This term our geography lessons are focused on Clitheroe.

We really enjoyed playing a board game about Clitheroe created by a child in Pine Class for their half termly homework.

We have been discussing the physical features and human features of the local area.

We have been thinking about different places in Clitheroe and what people do there. We realised that some places have lots of people that work or visit there but some places don’t involve as many people.

We walked to Clitheroe Castle. We looked for human and physical features in the local area.

We drew maps of Clitheroe. We included symbols and a key to help people follow the map.
