We made shakers. We used our sense of hearing to compare the sounds made by different objects in our shakers.
When we can’t see we use our sense of touch to help us. We couldn’t see in the dark den until we turned the torches on.
We used our sense of smell to try to identify what was in the smelly pots. We used our sense of sight to check if we were right. We found out that our sense of sight was more accurate than our sense of smell.
Using our feet to explore our sense of touch.
Exploring our sense of sight.
In our science this term we are naming and comparing parts of the human body and learning about our senses. We had fun singing 'Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes' and played 'Simon Says' naming parts of the body.
