More phonics provision!

The Three Little Pigs phoned us up to tell us that Mummy Pig is missing! PC Varo-Clement needed our help to try and find her.

L made his very own story map at home. We loved listening to his story. What a superstar! ⭐️

Ask us about these words!

We enjoyed the story “Every House on Every Street.” We talked about similarities and differences between houses and homes. Can the children name a type of home? Before creating our own, we made a simple check list of what a house needs. The Year 1 children also blew us away with their super sentence writing, using word spaces.

The reception children have been practising hearing and writing the initial sound in words. Superstars! 🌟

More exciting phonics provision! Can you make a “party plate” with lots of foods beginning with p?

This week we have been talking about our families. The children enjoyed listening to Miss Lancaster talk about her family. We read the book "The Great Big Book of Families" and discussed different types of families and how they are all special.

After focusing on the “t” sound in phonics, we made towers!

Some of our phonics provision!

The Year 1 children enjoyed drawing and writing about their summer holiday.
