SPELLINGS - using our spelling words to complete the sentences.

We have been finding out about mythical creatures in preparation to create our own mythical creature for an innovation of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

The children created their own set of Top Trump cards based on the characters from our text ( The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe). They had to use point and evidence to justify their numerical data choices.

SPELLINGS - cial or tial? We developed a rule to know when to use cial or tial.

The children used the description of Mr Tumnus, from an extract in the book, to draw what they thought he would look like.

The children in the story were ‘evacuated’ we used a semantic map to explore what the word evacuate means.

SPELLINGS - can you change the noun into an adjective by adding cious or tious?
