Welcome to Clitheroe Pendle Primary School

We have now been notified by Lancashire County Council which superstars will start school with us in September 2026. We look forward to meeting you!

If you have been offered a place at Pendle, you will shortly receive a letter via the post from us.  Please ensure you reply as soon as possible by completing the forms enclosed within the letter.  Welcome to the Pendle family! 

What does Induction look like at Pendle? 

15th April 2026

Offers issued to parents.

2nd June 2026

Induction evening for Pendle intake Sept 2026 (Parents Only). This is a meeting to tell you all about the induction process, and receive your induction booklet. You will also meet members of the school and current EYFS team. 

July 2026

Children invited into school with parents for stay and play induction sessions. (times & dates to follow)

July 2026

Reception teachers visit all nursery settings of children starting in Sept.

September 2026

Children will start at Pendle! Dates about how induction in September looks exactly will be shared on our Induction Evening. 

 

Settling your child into school doesn’t end here! Regular updates are posted are shared via various channels such as the website, newsletters and communicated with you directly by the school team where appropriate.
 

Once the children are settled into school, we host a Curriculum Meeting and share ‘Meet the Teacher’ information.
