    We would like to wish all of our families  a very merry Christmas and all the best for a  wonderfully happy new year. Enjoy the two week break and we look forward to seeing you in January 2024.

  • KS2 Concert

    Thank you to Rev Judith Clark for welcoming our KS2 children to St Mary's Church for our Carol Concert. Each class performed a Christmas song, our choir performed and lots of children played musical instruments. Well done to everyone !

  • Christmas market

    Thankyou to FOPS for organising our first outdoor Christmas market and to parents and children for your support. We all enjoyed listening to carols, performed by our school choir, and a special visit from Santa !

  • KS1 Christmas concert

    Our Key Stage 1 children performed a very festive Christmas Concert . Thankyou to parents and guardians for your support with costumes which included Christmas crackers , reindeers, snowmen and angels. Well done children , you all sang beautifully !

  • Choir visit

    Our choir visited Castle View Care Home and sang a range of Christmas carols. The children also enjoyed talking to residents about their Christmas wishes.

  • Pantomime

    All of our children loved our trip to The Grand to watch the pantomime . Thanks to FOPS for supporting this event and subsidising the cost.

  • Paul Jenkins visit

    We were visited by the poet Paul Jenkins today. The children had a wonderful day listening to and creating poems. Paul was really funny and kept everyone entertained. We have bought some of his poetry books to enjoy in our classes and in the school library.

  • Violet's Cafe

    The children in 1RL designed  a Christmas bauble and they were then painted on the windows at Violet's Cafe in Clitheroe. - see 1RL class page for photographs.

    Today , 1RL went to look at their painted baubles and were treated to a hot chocolate by Miss Neely (owner of Violet's cafe)!
