Zoolab visit

We learnt all about the natural habitat of a giant African land snail. They live in the rainforests of Africa. We couldn’t believe that they have 10, 000 teeth!

The giant African millipede lives on the rainforest floor and eats the rotting leaves, fruit and soil. They are very good for the environment.

The Madagascan cockroach has no backbone and it is the fastest running insect in the animal kingdom. It likes to eat plants, soil, flowers and bat poo! It has been around since the Jurassic period.

White tree frog from the rainforest. He didn’t come out as he has to have special water sprayed on him.

The corn snake lives in the field of South America.
