World Book Day 2024
We had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day 2024. 🌎 📕
We really enjoyed Miss Day visiting us to read A Squash and a Squeeze by Julia Donaldson.
Mrs Kennerley dressed up as her favourite character Six Dinner Sid. We then took part in activities based on the story. 🐈⬛
We worked collaboratively to create Aristotle Street from the text. We used a range of drawing media such as, charcoal, sketching pencils, crayons and biros. We added Sid the cat to our streets. 🐈⬛
We made Sid bookmarks. His paws hook over the page so we don’t lose where we are up to. 🐾
Our ‘Start of the Day Activity’ was a reading wordsearch.
Wow 🤩 look at our amazing costumes! We loved dressing as our favourite book characters. 📚
