Everyday Materials
We have been observing how different objects move. We talked about them floating, falling, dropping, gliding. We amazed Mrs Govender with our knowledge about gravity! We thought of a question to investigate and planned a group investigation. Which ball is the bounciest? Some balls bounced higher and some balls bounced more times. We wrote conclusions to explain our choices.
Exploring how materials can be changed by pushing, pulling, twisting, tearing, squeezing etc.
Exploring how toy cars move on different materials.
We have been sorting a range of materials. We thought about their properties. We use different materials in our construction activities.
