Summer 1 - living things and their habitat
As part of our topic we looked at insects. What are the characteristics of an insect? Three body parts - AD, six legs - CF. We discussed the three main body parts - the head, thorax and abdomen. The children the created an ant ou of play dough considering the main criteria.
Two visitors came in to 1W. We discussed how the tortoises shells grows as they get older just like a human skeleton gets bigger as we grow.
