Spring 2 - Plants
Today we looked at different seeds and tried to guess what they would grow in to. We then looked closely at the anatomy of a tomato and did some observational drawings. We also looked at our plants, one of which has been grown in the dark and one in the light. Can you guess which one is which?!
Today we studied daffodils. We looked at them closely including the bulb and the roots which looked a bit like hair! We then drew and labelled a detailed diagram
This week we began our new topic on plants. We had a variety of seeds and bulbs to explore. We used our fingers and even noses to explore them. We then sorted them using our own classifications. At first it was easiest to order them by size but soon we were all sorting them according to different characteristics for example colour or texture
