The children enjoyed the time Easter egg hunt. They had to find the clocks that showed the times they had been given.
Today we have been putting our previous work on fractions into good use by doing some work on direction. With the hip hop granny we have moved a quarter, half and three quarter turns left and right. We then played the Turning Turtle game
This week the children have been learning about fractions. They have been ordering different items into half, quarters or neither.
The children have been exploring measurement. They have made different length 'worms' to match the chosen measurement. They then went outside and measured sticks using cm, they had to decide if the stick was shorter than 10cm, between 10cm and 20cm or longer than 20cm.
