DT - Sewing

Practise joining two pieces of fabric together using the following stitches: running, back stitch and blanket stitch. See the information below as a guide. Dishcloths are suitable for this task, if you don’t have spare fabric at home.

Science

This half term we are studying the topic ‘Sound’. Please take the time to explore Chrome Music Lab - Song Maker and send us a video of you playing your song, or a screenshot if you prefer.

PE

Create your own small team game involving a ball. Write up the rules and bring them to school for us to try it out in one of our PE sessions! Send us a short video/photos of you playing your game with your family too.

Geography

This half term we are researching Paris and the surrounding area. Choose another French holiday destination to research and create a fact file/ PowerPoint of your choice.

PRSHE

This half term we will be finding out about our local community. Choose one from the following:

Investigate a club/organisation in our area and create a poster to encourage people to support or participate in this group.

Or

Suggest ways in which we can enhance our surroundings by creating a community action group, e.g. road safety letters to parliament.

Or

Create a new logo design for a community group. This could be the new logo for the Friends of Pendle.
