We discovered that we need more bins outside of school. We created posters and presented them, take a look at our campaign videos...
We found out Mrs. Backhouse had found some rubbish near to school! We used our mapping skills to locate it!
We identified school on a map and then thought about what was near or far. Children identified the fire station, the cricket pitch and the vets. We talked about Clitheroe Castle being further away and Cowgils toy shop!
What do you like about Clitheroe? We looked at parks and identified their features. We talked about the human and physical features before writing a sentence about what was our favourite part of the park.
