Spring 1 Printing

We began our art lesson by looking at the work of the Japanese artist Hokusai.

We explored printing with a range of hard and soft materials.

We began our lesson by looking at the linocut printer and artist, Angie Lewin. She uses natural flowers and plants in her art work.

Monoprinting - we drew a design then painted the foil [printing block]. After that, we drew our design with a cotton bud onto the painted block and used this to print onto paper.
