Wheels and axles.

Evaluating our final product.

Our amazing moon buggies. Bob will enjoy exploring the moon in our products.

Making - first we had to collect our materials from our design list, if we missed any we used a purple pen to add it to our list. Then we had to measure and cut our dowel to the correct size usinfpg a hacksaw. Mrs Nuns supervised use using the glue gun to attach our axle holders. She was really impressed with how careful we were using the equipment. Finally we decorated our moon buggy. Throughout the making process we evaluated our product - the dowel is to thick, the washers and wheels dropped of - so we came up with solutions to resolve our issues.

Practicing the skills of cutting using a hacksaw and bench hook, attaching using a hot glue tune, masking tape and PVA glue. Using the dowel as an axle to create a free moving wheel and a fixed wheel. We will consider which elements we will use for our design.

Using construction kits to build a product that has wheels and axles.
