Balanceability

We have had a fantastic week with Gwen and Jane from Balanceability. They have taught us so much about bike safety, and riding bikes. We have all done a brilliant job at improving our balance and managing the bikes! Everybody has really tried their best and all the adults are so proud of the children!

World Book Week

We really enjoyed listening to lots of stories and dressing up as a word for World Book Day! We had lots of wonderful and interesting words from Artist to Abracadabra! We have enjoyed talking about Jasper's Beanstalk - and we removed the words from the book to decide on our own vocabulary to describe what happened in the story. We've made our own bookmarks so we can keep track of our reading at home and enjoyed creating drawings of our favourite book characters on the computers!

Our Pendle Bake Off Winner!

Whilst every entry looked absolutely delicious, there could only be one star baker! Well Done! We all received a certificate for our special efforts and we really enjoyed having a good look at all of our creations. Great work everybody!

Pendle Bake Off for Macmillan Coffee Morning

Look at all the delicious cakes you have all been baking at home! It's a shame we cannot taste all your delicious cakes, but we will share all the photos below. Then, the winner will be given a special prize and certificate! Entries must be emailed to the RZ home learning email no later than Thursday 1st October. Enjoy!

Our First School Lunches

This week, we have been enjoying yummy school dinners everyday. We sit together in the Dining Hall and tuck into our lunches made for us by the Kitchen Team. Then, we tidy away our plates. We enjoy getting to eat our lunch together and trying new meals.

Our First Week at Pendle

Well, what a wonderful first week we have had in the RZ classroom! We have spent so much time exploring our new classroom, making new friends and learning our 5 special class rules. I am so proud of how kind, sensible and curious the children have been whilst we settle into a new routine, and I know our families will be very proud too...
