We made catapults just like Marcel in the story ‘The Boy Who Switched Off the Sun.’

We enjoyed the story, Ada Twist Scientist, before investigating our smelly red cabbage water. It turned blue when we added bicarbonate of soda. We then investigated what happened when we added different liquids, vinegar, lemon juice, milk, squash and soap.
We took part in the RSPB Big School Birdwatch. We also made bird seed cakes to take home to attract the birds to our gardens.
Nobot the robot needs to stick his bottom back on, he has no glue! What will work best instead of glue, tomato ketchup, baby lotion, soap, butter or honey?
