Mutual Respect

Mutual respect is at the heart of education within Clitheroe Pendle Primary School and is one of our School Values. Children learn that their behaviours have an effect on their own rights and those of others. All members of the school community are encouraged to treat each other with respect in the following ways :

• Assemblies
• RE lessons – learning about and respecting other cultures and beliefs
• RE theme days
• Through the PSHE and RE curriculum pupils are encouraged to discuss and respect differences and similarities between people
• Learning about the world through our cross curricular topics.
• Learning how to disagree in a respectful way.
