This half term we are learning a song called 'I Wanna Be In A Band'. Today to start the lesson we listened to 'Smoke on the Water' by Deep Purple. Most of us loved this song, particularly the guitar rifts! We then improvised pitch and rhythm using the glockenspiels.
Practising Ho Ho Ho by Joanna Morgana and listening, appraising and dancing to 'Blame it on the Boogie'!
In music with Mrs McLeod we have been learning all about beat and rhythm. We used a variety of instruments to make up rhythms based on sentences (try tapping out ‘I love chicken pie’!)
