The children have been learning how to find missing angles in triangles and quadrilaterals and also how to measure using a protractor and draw their own angles.  We also looked at the art work of Wassily Kadinsky and tried to identify acute, obtuse and intersecting angles.

We have also created mathematical curves using only straight lines. We needed to measure and plot accurately and use the correct mathematical vocabulary: axis, horizontal, intersect, vertical and diagonal. Here are some of our patterns.
