A slider moves the reindeer along through the forest
A split pin was used to attach Santa's arms so they could move. Using one arm as a lever, this makes Santa lift his sack onto his shoulder.
Levers
We thought about what our towers for Ratpunzel would look like, drew our plans then had great fun making them applying the skills we had practised.
We have been practising skills of scoring, folding and joining materials as a prequel to designing a tower for 'Ratpunzel!'
The children could choose whether to staple, glue or use sellotape.
