Here we are outside trying to draw what we think our skeleton looks like.

Where does the tibia belong?

Well done to these two members of Class 3/4S. I am really looking forward to them sharing their knowledge with us.

We have made it to the end of the half term. I know Mrs Schofield is incredibly proud of all of the pupils in her class. Just look at the lovely work on the walls now.

Look at this amazing bouquet we made to take our worries away. I know I will be using the flowers when I am feeling nervous or unsure.

Well done everyone.

Monday 21st September 2020

Today we have been looking at infographics. We have had fun with the iPads creating some of our own. I really like this one. I particularly like the alliteration for 'Diving Duncan'.

We are busy writing letters in English. I have been so impressed with the way we are choosing our words and creating our sentences. I can't wait to share some with you when we have finished them.

We have had great fun making electrical circuits today. The giggling in class and the sound of the buzzers and the bulbs lighting up really made my day.

Hi all,

We have been learning about decimal numbers today. Year 4 have been using numbers to two decimal places. Look at this brilliant sequence work.

Hi all,

Today we did PE outside again. I went to watch but I fell over and banged my nose! The children were very concerned.

We researched the life of Alessandro Volta in DT. We found out that he made the first electric battery in 1799. We were very impressed.

Hi all,

Today we have been very busy. We have started our Science topic and we have been thinking about electricity. We tried to think of an electrical appliance for each letter of the alphabet. Then we decided if they were MAINS powered, BATTERY powered or both.

Look at this example below.

Hi all,

Today we managed our first PE lesson outside. We were busy dancing like superheroes. My favourite was the Hulk. We moved with big extended actions and we were very angry. I was a little bit scared.

We have had another busy day. We have used our Maths books and our English books. I am really proud of the way my friends are working. The children even helped me to correctly punctuate my sentences too.

I really liked these pieces of work. I particularly liked the detail on the drawings and the way they have chosen to describe the monster.

What a day! It was so nice to see the class full of pupils again. We have all worked really hard but most of all we have had fun. We have completed many activities and games today too.

I think I will sleep well tonight.

Hi,

I'm Brian. I am a member of Class 3/4S. I have been to school to see how everything is getting ready for our return to the classroom.

Here I am looking at the display boards. I can't wait to see your lovely work up here. It looks like we are studying electricity this term. How exciting!
Here I am looking at the new classroom layout. It looks very strange seeing all of the tables in rows. We will soon get used to them and I am sure you will be sitting near a friend too.
I’ve been taking a sneaky peek inside a drawer. Everyone has their own pens, pencils and whiteboards. I can’t wait to use them. I need to remember to use cursive writing when I record too. Mrs Schofield likes very neat work. She has high standards and expectations.
Well, I have had a good look around and I have spotted our new toilets. They look so smart and shiny!

Keep looking back at this page as I will keep adding little bits of information as I find out more.

Stay safe,

Brian
