Autumn 1 - Islam
This half term the children will be learning about Islam.
The faith ambassadors came to talk to us about their religion Islam. They explained all about the Quran, Allah and they showed us how the use the prayer mat. The children were so engaged and they asked lots of question.
The children have been learning about how Muslims believe that Allah created the world. We went into the wildlife garden to explore nature and the children drew pictures.
We listened to the story of The Rainbow Fish and discussing how he felt better when he shared his shiny scales with the other fish.
We then discussed all the things that we are good at and what made us special.
Then we drew something that we are good at on a piece of material.
