We know that we are animals called humans. We sequenced how humans grow and talked about the changes.
We matched baby animals to the adults. We know the correct word for an animal baby is 'offspring'. We noticed how some offspring look like the adults but some offspring completely change as they grow and look nothing like the adult.
Comparing Our Arm Span With Our Height - We were trying to find out if we are as wide as we are tall. We thought of different ways to find out - it was very difficult to measure ourselves because we kept bending! We worked together to measure each other using a piece of string. We realised it was important to measure carefully because sometimes the string was not straight. We had mixed results but lots of fun and great discussion.
