Nature pictures in the style of Archimboldo. We collected a variety of natural objects, such as leaves and flowers. When then practised our printing skills to press them into the clay to create a portrait.
Lots of busy reading children!
So proud of the fantastic food poems! Excellent opportunity for the children to incorporate previously learned ninja words into our writing.
In preparation for writing food poems, we tasted a variety of fruits to build a word bank. The lemons were very sour! We also learned about Shrove Tuesday, and chopped the fruit we had tasted to put on our pancakes.
We went on a walk to look at plants that are growing around school.
