The children have been innovating the story map of Peter Rabbit. They changed the radishes to a different vegetable or a fruit and Peters escape route.

The children have been using a story map to retell the story of The Radish Robber.

The children have enjoyed innovating the poem Little Peter Rabbit and adding their own ideas to the poem. Here is just a small selection on their poems.

The children have been on a vocabulary word hunt finding words from our text 'the Adventures of Peter Rabbit.' We discussed the words using the word rap, say the word, clap the word, tap the word, act out the word and the meaning of the word. The children then put their word into a sentence.

The children have been learning about Peter Rabbit. They made their own rabbit headbands.

A mysterious box arrived in our classroom. Inside we discovered Peter Rabbit and his story book. Peter likes to sit on the children's desk and watch them doing their writing.

The children have been learning about Beatrix Potter. They created sentence maps of facts about her life.
