Forces and Magnets

This week we have been finding out if the size and shape of a magnet makes a difference to magnetic force. 

This week we have been finding out about magnets. Here we are making predictions and testing materials.

This week we have been investigating friction. We tested a spinning top on a range of materials. We made predictions and discussed our results too. We thought about why the spinning top slowed down and stopped in a shorter time with some materials.

This term we are investigating forces and magnets. We used the wonderful outdoors to test our initial thinking about the following: push, pull, gravity and friction.
