Just add s, if it ends in ss ch x s or sh add -es,  change y to i then add es

The children played a game. When they landed on a word they had to write the plural either by just adding s or if the word ended in y , change the y to an i then add -es.

Non Fiction author study

This week are looking at the books written and illustrated by Debi Gliori before moving on to find out about the infamous author Beatrix Potter.

To create interest we looked at an illustration of a rabbits tea party in one of her books. The children made rabbit masks then talked about what they were doing at the rabbit's tea party.

e.g I am Mr Rabbit and I am munching a carrot and drinking carrot juice.
