Before we knew what the text would be for this half term, we played guess the animal game. Miss Markham told us that one of the main characters in the story will be an animal! We had great fun!
Miss Markham showed us an image from the story. We had to predict what we think happened before and after.
We could see the front cover of the story but the title was covered up. Our task was to guess the title!
Thinking about how Henry is feeling at the beginning of the story. We used a thesaurus to help us to use interesting word choices:
