Autumn 1

Islam

This half term in our  R.E. lessons we are learning about the Islamic faith.

Today with Mrs Hind we continued to think about how Muslim people believe that all animals should be treated with respect.

We listened to the story of the Crying Camel.

The children worked together to retell the story and then make their own zigzag book. What amazing work they did today.

We learnt that Muslim people believe that Allah is the Creator. The children in 1D used water colours to paint earth and landscapes.

This afternoon we read the Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister and discussed how special and caring the fish was. Mrs Hind worked with us drawing things that were special to us. For a new skill all the children drew on material with fabric felt tips.
