Outdoor Elements
We had a wonderful time at Outdoor Elements! The children enjoyed exploring and taking part in lots of adventures. We are so proud of the exceptional teamwork they demonstrated. We created priceless memories and had so much fun. Thank you to everyone who offered to help and volunteered for our school trip.
Welly Walk! As we followed our guide up the stream, we had to climb over and under numerous logs and obstuctions.The children learnt that "green means slippy, brown means grippy!" We made rock towers and cautiously walked across wobbly bridges.
Bug Hunt! We searched for bugs in the stream and on land. To help us identify the bugs we discovered, we used magnifying glasses and an identification chart. We found freshwater slugs, water beetles, freshwater shrimp, and non-biting midges! We made sure to return the bugs to their natural habitats after observing them.
