Learning through Play

In Reception, we are always learning! A huge part of our learning is through play. We love to ‘get busy’ and explore all areas of the carefully planned provision! Play is hugely important during our time in Reception and beyond!

We are enjoying reading the books we chose from the school library.

We LOVE playing schools, so it only made sense to transform our role play area into a mini classroom! The children have loved taking on the role of teacher!

We love our new outdoor area!

This is Thinking Thib. Thib loves when children have a plan within their play. He likes to give stickers out when children show super thinking! This includes carpet time, focus activity time and choice time! He even sits on carpet spaces with children who are being a Thinking Thib!
