Interfaith week
What a fantastic display of Interfaith art created by each class. We had a lovely time admiring all the different ideas.
The children have been creating a dove to symbolise interfaith week.
We have been very fortunate that Mrs Kennerley organised for Amy a Jewish lady to come into our class and tell us all about Judaism. She explained that Jews read the Torah (a scroll) at the synagogue from right to left. Did you know that synagogues have the Star of David at the front of the building? She fetch a shawl and kippah (hat) that the mean wear when playing - worn by TB. She explained how Jews celebrate Hanukkah.
We played a Jewish game using a dreidel. It was so much fun!
