Induction Information

Unfortunately, due to social distancing considerations, we have had to make changes to our planned induction programme.  We will no longer be holding induction visits in school in June and July. Instead of the induction visits, Miss Lancaster or Miss Zak will telephone you to give you the opportunity to talk about your child’s strengths and interests and for you to inform them of any personal information they may need to know about your child.

On Wednesday 1st September all children will attend school for a 45 minute session when one parent or carer will stay with them so they can meet their teacher and explore their classroom.

Children will then have four half day sessions before they all start school full time on Wednesday 8th September.

We will contact all nursery and pre-school settings to speak to key workers about the children who are joining us in September, but we will not be able to visit the settings this year.

Any further induction information, including video tours of the classrooms for your child to watch and talk about with you will shortly be posted here.

We apologise for any inconvenience these changes may cause but hope you understand that we have to put everyone’s safety first.
