Oh I do like to be beside the seaside 🏖
The children have loved sharing their pictures of them as a baby, as a toddler and them now. We compared them and discussed the differences.
The children very respectfully observed the 2 minutes silence today. After, we listened to a story about Captain Tom Moore. We discussed his bravery, along with the other soldiers. We made our own bravery medals.
We have been busy learning all about why we wear Poppies at this time of year. We listened to the story ‘Where the Poppies Now Grow’ and watched the beautiful Cbeebies Poppy Animation, before discussing the significance of Remembrance Day. The children created their own Poppies using different art materials.
