Forest Friday
Leaf rubbings!
Bonfire celebrations! The children worked together to collect all sorts of leaves and sticks for a bonfire. We learnt about Guy Fawkes, ate our edible sparklers and sang Bonfire songs. Lots of wonderful memories made.
Exploring Autumn leaves!
We shared the story of the ‘Leaf Man’ and discussed signs of Autumn. We got into teams and collected natural objects, including different coloured leaves, apples and conkers. The children enjoyed making leaf pictures.
We have been making friendship recipes. The children added special ingredients such as love, kindness, enjoyment, and smiles.
Our first Forest Friday was a huge success!
