A mystery case appeared in the wildlife garden!

We thought about the answer to the questions:

Inside the secret envelope was the story but Miss Markham had covered up the title! We wrote down our predictions for the title.

When the title was revealed, we wrote down what we already knew about the traditional tale of Jack and the Beanstalk.

We began the story of Jack and the Baked Beanstalk and stopped when the character Jack got to the top of the baked beanstalk. We thought about what could be at the top of the beanstalk on a green creative thinking that.

As a class we thought about how Jack’s mum felt when Jack returned with a tin of beans. Then, we thought about how Jack felt when his mum was livid with him!

A baked beanstalk appeared in our classroom!

We stepped through a magic mirror and became the giant. We were interviewed by ‘Ribble FM’ also known as Miss Markham!
