The children were asked to sort pictures of animals for any criteria of their own.  Then, they sorted them according to the animal grouping. 

Hibernation

We talked about why animals hibernate, how they prepare for the colder weather and which animals hibernate in the United Kingdom. The children answered questions about hibernation then made a ‘Hibernation Animal’ poster.
