Autumn 1 We live in Clitheroe
How could we improve Clitheroe? We walked around our school grounds to see how we could improve where we live. Take a look at our responses...
We talked about birds eye view and what it means. Miss DeRosa stood on the table and we looked at maps. We drew Harry the Happy Mouse a map of our classroom before sharing what we had drawn.
Harry the Happy Mouse was lost in our classroom! We helped him find his way by following Miss DeRosa’s positional language.
We went on a walk around school to identify what we could see. What is near? What is far? We noticed that the vets, the cricket pitch and fire station were near. We talked about the town of Clitheroe and where people might visit.
